Dr. Karen Sue Smith has B.A. Degree in Psychology from Taylor University, and her Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. In March 2022 she completed a Doctorate in Prophetic Ministry from Christian Leadership University.

As I walked through the loss of my three babies, I often looked for books that told the story of other women who had suffered similar pregnancy losses. I wanted to find someone who has journeyed the same road that I was traveling on. I wanted to discover how they made it through and how God met them. As I have walked this path, God has given me keys of how to parent in the light in a dark world. This path has been full of overwhelming sorrow, but also more joy than a heart can contain. I invite you into my story not only to learn the keys that God gave me, but also to see that God is faithful and will never leave us or forsake us!I pray that as you read the lessons in this book that God taught me about dealing with loss, treasuring life, and parenting, you will find hope and light in your own areas of darkness.
